Women, Work & Justice

From parental leave, to saying no, and finding one’s true voice — female licensees face unique issues, compared to our male counterparts. Career aspects of special interest to women include: leadership and mentorship skills, flexible work arrangements, career coaching, and advice about career transitions.

The Law Society of Upper Canada released resources for its female licensees, this past spring. These are part of the “Justicia Project.” Justicia resources include 13 templates, guides and toolkits, as well as templates for law firms to deliver Continuing Professional Development (CPD) programs.
