Law Society Treasurer Thomas G. Conway congratulates Toronto paralegal Paula Stamp on receiving the Law Society’s 2014 Distinguished Paralegal Award.

A recognized leader in the paralegal profession and a passionate supporter of the Autism community, Stamp received the award at the Law Society’s annual awards ceremony in Toronto, May 21.

Paula Stamp is the founder and director of operations of Accident Resolution Group Stamp & Associates PC and marketing director for Patey Law Group (PLG). She was licensed in 2008 and has more than 18 years of insurance experience in the legal community.

As a passionate fundraiser for Autism Speaks Canada, Stamp founded the “Under The Big Top for Autism” Annual Gala. Stamp is the founder and donor of several scholarships and initiatives that benefit the legal community, college graduates and Aboriginal youth and women.

At May Convocation, the award was renamed the “William J. Simpson Distinguished Paralegal Award,” in honour of former Bencher Simpson’s contribution to paralegal regulation.
