OCJ makes digital audio available

The Ontario Court of Justice has issued a new Practice Direction regarding certain proceedings. Beginning April 15, 2013, legal practitioners will be able to purchase Digital Audio Recordings of trials. These can be used to prepare an appeal, or in lieu of a transcript. First day recordings cost $22; each additional day is $10.50. Legal providers must sign an undertaking to use a recording. You can find more on the Practice Direction here:
