This morning, Paralegal SCOPE Magazine reached another milestone: 10,000 views in 10 weeks.
The vast majority of readers are from Canada, but people from Afghanistan, Quatar, New Zealand, Greece, Mexico, the United States and other nations have also checked in.
Practice Management, Regulatory Affairs, Continuing Professional Development, reference material and reviews, paralegal news, and features that offer insight on dealing with the day-to-day work we do, are the most popular with SCOPE readers.
SCOPE readers follow links — a lot of links. Law Society pages, links to court decisions, media sources, law-related quizzes, CPD courses and paralegal business legal websites get followed the most.
This tends to verify what I suspected when I created SCOPE: paralegals have a hunger for information and a thirst for learning, about their profession, about the legal community, and about how they can improve their practice to benefit their clients.
Searches for information about the scope of practice, leading decisions, legislative changes, practice area tips, paralegal rules and legislation, individual paralegals and licensees with expertise — these direct searchers from engines to Paralegal SCOPE.
I’ve revelled in the comments, suggestions and especially the contributions of the paralegal community. Each Share, Like, Comment, contribution and suggestion is redemptive and encouraging. SCOPE is right on track, providing a voice and a forum for paralegals across the province.
I hope that, as SCOPE moves onward and upward, we can reach even more paralegals, students, instructors, fellow licensees and observers of Justice, and give a voice to more of those with something to say about this profession.
Thanks to everyone who helped SCOPE to achieve this landmark.
