CanLII Connects — the Canadian Legal Information Institute’s collection of summaries and commentaries on Canadian case law — includes contributions from Paralegal SCOPE Magazine and national law firms, major regional firms, academics, leading practitioners and legal bloggers, research specialists, commercial publishers and law societies.

CanLII is a non-profit organization created and funded by 14 member provincial and territorial organizations within the Federation of Law Societies. It is part of an international Free Access to Law movement.
This free resource includes decisive and persuasive cases that are relevant to the paralegal scope of practice. Human rights, employment law, contract disputes, Provincial Offences cases, refugee law and issues related to substantive law interpretation, are among the decisions constantly added to the collection.

Contributions are accepted from those with a demonstrated capacity for legal analysis. The project was created to make it faster and easier for legal professionals and the public to connect with high-quality legal commentary on Canadian court decisions.
